March 2026 – Newsletter

A warm team focused image showing the Nicklin CE and RPC surveying, planning, and engineering team, with visuals of land development projects in Waikato. Highlights include a mix of office and field work, representing practical support for landowners and developers.

Welcome back! And our first Newsletter for 2026 endeavours to reconnect with our Nicklin CE community, following the holiday season!

While updates have been a little quiet, we haven’t forgotten; we’ve simply been settling back into the year and ensuring our client matters remain our top priority.

Our first edition for 2026 includes a message from our Waikato Branch Manager,Rhys Kelly, an overview of the upcoming Resource Management Act 1991 reforms from our Lead Planner Tom Christie and what this means for landowners and developers, insights into current development trends across Cambridge and the wider Waikato, and a very quick preview of an extremely challenging site that is now progressing toward a 10-lot subdivision.

As always, our focus remains on delivering clear, practical advice and supporting successful land development outcomes for every project we’re involved in.

We warmly welcome the year ahead and extend our very best wishes to all of our clients and partners for a successful and rewarding 2026 in all your endeavours.

If you have any burning questions that you’d like to ask, please reach out for a friendly chat. We’re always happy to connect and ready with, “How can we help you?”
